DD coil on a Ace 250?

It isn't the extra depth you get with the DD coil so much as the difference in the field in the ground which is wider at the bottom.

I have the 10x14 DD Excelerator on my Ace. Beats the heck out of the stock coil. It doesn't false as much, goes a couple inches deeper and separates targets better than a concentric.

Cool, this is the information I was looking for.

I have the large 9x12 on it and it does work well, but does have a little trouble with trashier areas.

It is the better separation I am looking for out of it.

I just didn't want to drop a C-note on a DD only to find it equal/or no better than the 9x12 concentric I have.

if you're going to hunt trashy areas, another thing that will help is to get a smaller DD coil, like a 6 inch excelerator
