Well the GTI 2000 was before the GTI 2500 they were good detectors......... I almost bought one a few months back...... But the seller wanted $300.00 for it that was not bad............. but then garrett wanted $300.00 to install the updates that are in the GTI 2500 so i passed on it........... when they put the up dates in you lose treasure talk...... that i did not care for any way...

Well for nugget hunting it is not a prospecting detector...... All detectors will find gold......... But for nuggets i would think you would want a gold detector......... Gold detectors will find smaller nuggets at a deeper depth......... Of course all detectors will find larger nuggets.....
