Got up early for some hunts on the slopes. There was a bitter wind from the north giving wind chills to about -17C.

Just as there are hot spots when water hunting and land hunting, hunting slopes have their hot spots too. :)

I guess because silver coins have been out of circulation for so many years, people don't recognize one when they get one in change. I guess this was the case on the hill. A very rare find indeed. :thumbs

Here's the totals. It looks similar to what I would find in a days water hunt.

Nice silver John. What king of reading did you get on it and how does it compare to the newer quarters?

How often do you work the same hill?
Man I love those Toonies. I wish we had them, they add up fast.
Thanks for posting.

I didn't even look to see where the Pro read the silver quarter. I mostly use my ears with this machine to decide if it's junk or not like the Scorpion. And in Standard mode it gives the belltone which, with the signal disappearing with the coil rising at about 12 inches means that it's coin size and probably a coin. The busy hills I usually hunt every 2 weeks or the next day of a holiday.
