Re: AT Pro: i'm confused......

I know the feeling Sandman. I've had my old faithful DFX for 8 years. I've tried a heck of a lot of different detector in the last 8 years and some were deeper, but none have been as versatile. My list in the last 8 years include:

XLT
MXT
Vision
V3i
X-Terra 70
Soveriegn GT
Explorer SE
E-Trac
Silver uMax
Compadre
Omega 8000
AT Pro

I have 2 main detectors I stick with but like to try others from time to time. I sold the AT pro I had because it did not perform as good as the two I already have. If it would have I would kept it.

Re: AT Pro: i'm confused......

Thanks, I figured it out and mine doesn't seem to be falsing so I guess I am one of the lucky ones. That's something good to know though in case it should occur later. Monty

Mine seems to be okay too. It seems not to be falsing. It seems very sensitive. I'm not confused.

Re: AT Pro: i'm confused......

Original post had nothing to do with falsing.

It was a question as to why so many people are selling them right after having purchasing them. This alone was confusing.

The answer was addressed by several very good posts from respected members.

No confusion with the question, as it was rather direct.

My thanks to those of you who provided an answer to my concerns. You are appreciated.

I don't see how you could answer your question without getting into the falsing issue? That seems to be the reason you inquired about, but now it seems to be resolved by the usual Garrett excellent customer service people. Monty
