My buddy has a Whites detector and I have taken my GTP 1350 over to his target and without exception my 1350 will see what he sees. His machine will see coins down to about 8-9 inches, so will my 1350. I have found a metal box down 14 inches, unfortunately it was empty :'( ...

When someone posts that his XYZ detector gets 1 ft on a dime we need to figure out his settings, location, ground moisture, angle of the coin, and a lot of other variables. It is impossibe to compare two detectors together for depth unless they are tested side by side with the same operator.

Pulse detectors are very deep but about impossible to use for coins at a park.
