One thing I know... It ain't an AT-Pro rod assembly on it. An AT-Pro won't fit in that bag unless you take it apart.

Pretty clear based on the equipment he's carrying that Garrett is coming out with their new gold detector to replace the Scorpion.

Given the price of gold and the number of people looking for it these days, not a big surpirse. :icon_thumleft:

Perhaps something similar(relic, small nuggets, coins) to the Gold Bug DP from Fisher, By the "hype" video I would assume bigger, better. But they made a point to single out highly mineralized soil and iron trash infested sites.

No first run for me this time, learned my lesson with the AT Pro. I'll wait a year.

I saw this somewhere else, but there are two detectors leaning up against the truck.

This is my own deductions now: The larger(non AT Pro) seems to have the Garrett headphones on it(AT Pro style) If it was a Minelab or F75 which it somewhat resembles, would they be using Garrett headphones especially the kind that come with a Garrett specific connector for the AT Pro?

While just investigative theories if that is the machine, it is definitely looking like a new flagship model.

Same for me no more first run Garrett detectors ............... I will wait and see how many things can happen to them the first year also.......... And if it has the same crappy headphone & coil connector the AT Pro has i will not buy one.........

I hope it will be "new technology" not just something to make us happy. Everything of late just seems to be an small upgrade of either software or an adaptation of existing tech, not anything "new".

It would be nice to have a compact version.

Like this one they produce for the military only geared for the hobbyist.

It would fit my jeep better and would be easy to backpack
