    Which model can detect some small or tiny gold nuggets?

    Im still trying to decide which metal detector I should buy to detect small gold nuggets. I know I was told most metal detectors cannot detect the smallest nuggets, but still want to know which model CAN detect any size if possible.

    No detector can get the extra fine grain. Most manufacturers make "Gold" machines, Garrett is introducing the AT-Gold in October. Garrett also has the Infinium L/S, pulse induction. Both of these should get some fairly small nuggets with experence. The top of the line Gold detector is the Minelab GPX-5000, if you have the money to go that route, it should get you the smallest nuggets of any detector, but for $5000, it should...

    The new AT Gold should be good on tiny nuggets with it's 18 kHz. It's water proof to 10 feet also. Click below for some more information:
