Yeah, prospecting/nugget hunting is not something that's going to be a quick pay off. Get to a good area and dig every target. Every tiny blip. You gotta figure the easy ones are gone. If you haven't done it, put a picker in with some hot material and that is the response you have to be looking for. If you haven't tried it, you can use some Ground balance Window to cut back on the hot rocks a little just enough to make them sound weaker. Again, check it with a test target because too much will reduce sensitivity to small targets, but the idea is to get a smoother threshold.
