Nice To Get Out....The Wireless Headset Worked Flawlessly
After seeing all the great finds from all the forums, it was nice to get out. It was sunny and a few degrees above freezing. My buddy & I headed out with our AT's. He had the Pro, I Had the Gold. We both got some common clad in an area where old coins have shown up, but with still 6 inches of snow in places, we were limited to places to hunt. The recent wireless headset I purchased worked great. Some of the places I hunted were thick with bushes and saplings, a challenge at best wearing a headset attached with a curly cord. However, with the wireless set of headphones, it was very easy to get into some crowded areas.
Someone, probably a homeless person made a nice piece of art, as shown below. Looks like he/she was a very talented person.

That's a cool looking piece of Indian art you found there John.
Is the pick that you have from Princess Auto? I have been looking for a good one to break through the crusty layer but can't find one. I have been using a large garden one, but it looks a little odd going in to the woods or a field with that big piece of hardware.

That pick is from Princess Auto. $11.99 (no prov. sales tax) My buddy bought one too. They are a nice size to take along winter hunting.
