My back up detector is an older Garrett GTAx500 that works great, but the plastic battery inserts are both cracked and are getting more difficult to use. I decided I would email Garrett so I found an address on their website and sent an email asking how I could go about ordering a replacement. This machine is about 10 years old, not under any kind of warranty, and I am not the original owner. Well, in about 3 minutes I had a response back from them asking for my mailing address so that they could mail me the parts at no charge! Now THAT is service! Thank you Garrett.
