what would be the best entry level metal detector for around 300
My 13 year old wants to get into the hobby. but I really dont need another metal detector and have a feeling It will be my 3rd spare after he finds a new hobby..
I Just got done reading about the ace 250 versus the 350 .looks like the ace 250 is around 100 cheaper and the difference between the to is not that great.
Im looking for something around 300,we will not be in or around water.

How about a Tesoro Compadre? Light, easy to use, and great resale value. At $170.00 and with a lifetime warranty, possibly the best starter on the market today. Good Luck!

When in doubt, go with the higher end model. Just figure if you find ONE MORE gold ring in the whole life of the machine you make up for any price difference. Add to this the extra features will be so much nicer to use.
O God of compassion, You alone can justify me and Your will never reject me when I, contrite, approach Your Merciful Heart, where no one has ever been refused, even if he were the greatest sinner. For Your Son assured me: Sooner would heaven and earth turn into nothingness than would My mercy fail to embrace a trusting soul.
