I've ordered an AT-Pro and have tomorrow off so I am looking for the materials to build a case. I know the specs say that the AT-Pro is 42+ inches. I was hoping someone could tell me if the 42" is the shortest it goes for putting it in a case. I am thinking 42" is the minimum usable length. Is it the packing length 42 inches? Thanks for this and all the help you guys have given me while I have been lurking.

28" if upper "S" shaft is detached from lower shafts with coil.
43" if fully assembled and compacted with coil at 90°.
46" if fully assembled and compacted with 5x8"DD coil attached and folded back.
