Hi all

Had planed to go out M.D today, but woke up to snow about 3cm

Maybe this is a silly question but can I use my ace 250 in the snow

should be no problem as long as you keep the control box dry
and don't have extreme cold temps, for long periods of time.

snow is just colder water

Detectors used in the cold will sometimes not behave right and this means the cold has affected the batteries.

wrap a hand warmer around it
some one on here swears by it...

I use mine in extreme cold, and it works just fine! You may want to attach a hand warmer to it though.

Thanks everyone. Just been out MD in the snow the good thing about it was you can see where you've searched
