I have a early model gti 1500. The original round (not egg shaped) 9" scorcher coil has cracks in several areas that i've epoxed. It still works fine but was thinking getting couple used ones off the bay to try. I have had this machine many years but little use. I guess I'm just wondering do the 'used' coils need to be gti only? I've seen some off freedom3, ect on the net, like a crossfire eleptical 5x10. I really don't want to spend ton of money as long as original still working. My machine's model number is:98052167 so assume 98?-99? I got this from my Brother who lives out of state when he upgraded. Any suggestions on what will cross over and fit and what would be better than stock 9" round scorcher? thanks!
