From what I've heard, wet sand will make a md go crazy. You need ground balancing on your md to be productive in wet sand. You can still do good, just going to have a lot of noise.

I'll let you know in about two weeks. I'm taking a trip to North Myrtle, I've got an AT Pro and my brother will be borrowing my 250, I'll try to do some dry and wet comparisons and put it on my YouTube MD channel.

When I lived in Destin, FL .. The salt water made mine go crazy... But it didn't effect it in the damp sand. Just when I got in the water.

I used the 250 on NJ wet sand and it falsed pretty bad. Dry sand was perfect, ran at max sen. and did pretty well.

This Kentucky boy doesn't get on a beach much. I'm still learning my pro mode. I mostly md old structures. I might even start enjoying the beach more now.lol

So what i have learned is the 250 will false alot in wet sand. To fix this i ran it 3 clicks from max and it worked pretty good but then again how much did i not fine. In the dry sand it worked great. Im now a tent stack MASTER. Back to TN to hunt the normal old houses and such!!!!
