Hi all, I just got my ace 250 on Monday and mding is hard lol.
I have been practiceing in my back yard.i have it set on coin mode.
I have been hiting targets but i dig and there is no coin.
Iam learning on how to use the built in pin pointer iam trying to line up
The target in the middle of the coil.still zip i might be digging to deep.
But iam going to keep at it,i wanna get a hand held pin pointer but is that cheating.
They say it takes 50 horus to learn how to md .iam a slow learner
I do have a learning disability but i will keep trying i did find a old nail.

Just keep at it you will learn the machine...dont hunt with the sensitivity turned all the way up back it own acouple of notches...pin pointers can help save alot of time in target recovery but you dont have to have 1

One of the very best investments you can buy is the Garrett PRO-POINTER®. The puppy will save you a ton of time and aggravation.

When you pinpoint, start pinpointing off the target and slide back across, it will help you center it. You can turn 90 degrees and pinpoint again, the target should be where the two lines cross. You can practice pinpointing by laying coins on the surface.
