Oh yeah, the guy that owns it is getting rdy to have the house condemned and he didn't give two sh*ts bout me hunting it or what I find...so, by end of summer I will have every piece of metal from it. I'll post pics of the place later today, c if anyone has a good idea for a plan of attack for me to start with....I initially hunted by the front door, found most the coinage and nails there, but it was gravel conditions...then moved to the back yard by clothesline and found the cars and other scrap bits...today If I get to feeling better I'm going to bury a silver and c how the ground messes w its sounding and vdi, since I've been reading that vdis r super inconsistent over 6" and if it even shows up, it can b bouncy as eFF....but, when I did dig my first silver, I *think* it was consistent, and was at least 7-9" down

If there is a old big tree on the property, that is a good place to look also. Lot's of people sat under them on hot days, and had "home picknicks" under the shade. Most had a old tire for the kids to swing on too!

Yea, I tried to search the tree first, but it us overgrown with sprouts and other shrubbery something fierce. I'm going to catch up w the owner soon and see if he has problem w me doing some pruning....I doubt hell mind at all....in his head, I believe he sees me as a "de-trashifier/home beautification free worker" lol....I'm cool w that....here's a couple goodies I found before the wife got me to make supper ....3 wheaties, 3 zinc, shotty shell, rifle casing, and an unknown silver that says "play money(ontop) falsa pecunia(bottom)"......needless to say, my hopes for silver are HIGH...all the wheats, top 2" of dirt! Boom

Now that's a great mixture of great targets. Is it safe to assume you like relics? Keep them coming.....

I like relics, coins, artifacts, jewelry.... Anything historically significant....and anything else that people have assumed to b lost in the sands(or dirt) of time... My digs aren't on your level john, but once I get the trash off the top I'm hoping I find more silver... ...so far the house where this stuff came from has got me 14 or 15 wheaties, 1919 being the oldest, and q silver Rosie 1956d... ...got a spill yesterday that had 20+/-(1) pennies from 2000-2010 and two nickels. ....if only those would've been wheats....id be one happy camper
