This is yesterdays finds. NO SILVER,just caroaded clad penny's and clad silver! The Way the pennys are ate up,we must have battery acid in our soil,but the good side of it is,in a few more years they will all be dissolved! 87 pennys,8 dimes,1 nickel,and 4 quarters!

I got to try out a new site this morning for about 45 minutes before I had to do other things. First hit was a 1951 wheat penny,second find was a 1945 Mercury dime,then two more wheat pennys,both 1946. I think I need to spend some more time looking here! The bad part is this empty lot is just half a block away from my house. I've passed it a zillion times without ever giving it a second thought.

I've got 4 sites to hunt,but they have only gave up clad so far. After I rested yesterday,I went back (couldn't stand the thought of those older coins being there just waiting to be found) and found three zinc Lincolns,and a Kennedy Half. I guess my hot streak is over. Boy that didn't last long?

I got a few sites too, and mine are only giving up coins from the seventies. However, I got to talk to two older people that went to school there and they told me what I thought all along so I will be hunting a different area next time out on that property.
