That's a deep hole at the end of the video. I would like to see what's in that box.

I might get blasted for saying this, but I think the way they're announcing it is a bit cheesy. I can understand not wanting to release all of the machine details in case something might change in the final production model, but if they're that close to releasing a new model. Of course the whole idea of that type of announcement is to generate buzz, but it also generate speculation. Probably just me....I'm not the kind of guy that likes surprises ;)

I haven't been back into detecting for long enough to know if that kind of press release is normal for the industry.

Me too. I manual balance, doing the pumping thing, just like they say, turn down the sensitivity a couple of notches and STILL the thing falses all over the place. I don't use it on the beach anymore.

Not sure if this will help you squiggy, but here you go: I haven't been able to hit the beach with mine yet, so I can't really comment otherwise!

I know they are not available yet. I just got excited when they show someone pulling this old metal box out of a 10 foot hole.

I Believe!!!

I've ordered a back hoe and I am anxiously awaiting for the new Garret.
I'm thinking of learning Chinese, cause this new machine looks like it goes deep.:laughing7:

On a serious side, I sure hope its a PI with visual Id and multi-tones.

visual ID means more $$$, I will be happy with just the multi tones and a price on $650 tops.
If they want to have a top selling P.I like the top selling vlf they have must be in that range.
