I have a feeling it will be in the $800 range. Probably a higher end (AT series). They mention pulse technology which has me a bit curious.

Im sure I'll be keeping my AT Pro for a long time anyways. It works for me, snd im not going detecting on volcanoes or deep sea dives, so ill stay with what I know. ;) plus, I'd wait to make sure they got all the bugs worked out.

About time.
I've been dying to try an AT PRO but by the looks of this it's waterproof and a higher level detector. I was really disappointed with the underachieving, over priced GTI 2500.

Well at least they're staying competitive! As far as $1000 plus machines go, Minelab seems to be leaving them in the dust! Looks interesting, can't wait!

Of course they would have to announce a new machine on the very day my AT Pro is delivered. My timing is impeccable.

That's usually my luck too. You wont go wrong with the ATP. I love mine. I'm going watch this new detector just to see what they want to improve on. Hope the coil and headphone connections are a little easier to connect to the head.

It does fair once you get it balanced out. Maybe a depth of 4-6" depending on the beach. This is wet sand and surf and just my experience in the east coast.

I live on the east coast and I GB my ATP if im walking the wet sand and stay in the wet sand.as far as it not being able to find much beyond a few inches I have yet to see what ppl are talking about..i found a lead sinker size smaller than a pea over a foot deep. Found coins from 8-12" deep. Seriously do I have the only beach capable ATP?

Get your facts first, then distort them as you please-Mark Twain
