I want to try some rechargeable 9v batts. for the pro-pointer
so went on Ebay //--I don't know which is the best battery buy ??

they are all 9v. 6f22 ??

or Li-ion 600 mAh 6 @27.56

or 2 Li-ion 600 mAh with charger @ $15.00

there are some at 800 mAh ?? is this better//??

The higher the capacity the longer they will last.

In other words the higher the mAh number the longer they will last .. holds more juice :)

Panasonic makes good rechargable batteries and so does Radio Shack.

Look at the voltage also. Some are not 9 volt, but 6.4 or 8.4 and won't last long even with a high mAh. Also, there have been incidents where people have purchased cheap cheap batteries, made in China, which ended up being junk. Either go with a known brand name or one somebody who has previously used one on these forums.

MAh (million amp hour) or milla amp hour. I use regular batteries and they seem to last a very long time don't see the need for rechargeable but for the detector I might I don't use headphones much unless im at a public area.

I just use regular 9 volt batteries....I think I go through about 3 a year with a lot of usage.

l bought several Maximalpower professional digital Li-on batteries on ebay. hey are 550mAh batteries and they seem to work good in my detectors.

Thanks All: I have a Bounty hunter I use at the saw mill and it uses 2 9v batt. I also have the charger so I'm gonna get a cpl 500-600 mVA and see how they work// at 2-3 per year I agree they are not necessary // Perry
