A great day to be out. Not too hot, some sun and a nice lite breeze from the east. I managed about 5.5 hours. I like to use the sand sifter, as it saves me a lot of time and energy, letting the sifter do most of the work while I keep scanning the lake bottom. I have a " "HOW TO BUILD THE BEST FLOATING SIFTER EVER"" article in July's Western and Eastern Treasures. It has no metal parts, so you can scan the sand in the sifter from the bottom.

I got a low high signal, and dug a good 18 inches to pull this vintage spinner. I am building up a nice collection of various vintage fishing tackle. Some of it is worth a lot of $$$.

I got a nice clear, soft high-low on this chain with 3 religious medallions. A great addition to to my religious medallion collection.

The gold rings will come, but not today. Another deep target, and I created a ring out of it. If you can't find a ring, you can at least make one. Back to work tomorrow.

I just put together a sifter for water hunting I didn't look for any how too's but seen some pics and this is what mine ended up looking like. I will be putting it to the test in the river soon by the old battle site.

Excellent job on your floating screen. It should save you some extra time so you can dig more targets. I covered my Garrett classifier with diamond shaped gutter cover to trap smaller targets such as minnie balls.

Great idea thanks!!! I was wondering what I was going to do for the smaller relics. I'll be doing that as soon as I can pick some up. Again thanks for the idea!!!
