Just another perfect day to be out again! Light breezes, clear sky and a warm temperature requiring only a light jacket. I headed out to an old area, where I have found some nice coins and relics before. Today was another successful hunt......including my oldest coin (colonial token) ever! Also found a nice piece of petrified wood. I cleaned it up and put a light coating of olive oil on it to bring out the colors. A 1950 Chauffeurs Badge was a real surprise too!

Here's my oldest coin ever. A Britanica 1775 Half Cent. It was probably used as coinage (token) as there was no official Canadian Coinage available yet. (first years was 1858 for pennies, Nickels, Dimes....)

Here's a turning knob of some sort with a knurled edge. Letters stamped "CWC" and a small broken threaded stem remaining. CWC= Cold Water Control or Cool Weather Clustering or California Writers Club......

And the remaining "better" coins. I also dug multiple coins in the 40's and 50's.
