Save those Bi-metallic coins you dig up. They make coin-ring crafting so easy! Just pop those centers out and use the outside rounds to make a perfect ring. No burring required. The centers can be holed and used as jewelry such as earrings.

Slip those rounds on a ring mandrel or round tapered pinch bar. Hammer the heck out of them while pushing them down the mandril. The idea is to get them down far enough to eliminate the cone shape that you started with. Please anneal the rounds prior to hammering them down the mandrel to make them softer and easier to work with. When you have the shape you want, get some silver compound polish and use some felt polish bits on your rotary tool to put a nice finish on those coin-rings. 3 hours for 3 coin-rings from start to finish. :)
