In a word, no. The AT Pro is a higher-level machine that the 350. The AT Pro has several features that the 350 does not, including:

  • The AT Pro is waterproof to 10 feet depth
  • The AT Pro has modulated audio with "tone roll" - much more information in the audio signal
  • The AT Pro can be used just like a 350 (in Standard mode), then switched to Pro mode when you're ready.
Of course, as a higher-level machine, the AT is more expensive than the Ace 350. So that might figure into any decision between the two.

The best Garrett detectors if you are hunting coin's & jewelry are the GTI detectors GTI 2500 & GTI 1500..

Agreed! The 350 is a turn on and go model. AT Pro has numerous options deeper 9/10" on a quarter. GTI are very nice just not water proof, for the money AT Pro all the way

GTI's are coin detectors with the same low 7 KHZ as the Ace 350. The AT Pro's 15 KHZ will be better on jewelry and gold than the GTI series.
