Hi All; I have reached my goal of 1000 coins for the year /// Here is a picture of it soon to head to the Bank // (they love to see me coming each year///.) Now I hope to consentrate on some better stuff//
The AT PRO has worked almost perfectly for this// I.m shure other machines would do it but I dought as easily// Good fun, lots of exercise and few problems// Perry
End count: Quarters 180 = 18%
Dimes 309 = 31%
Nickels 41 = 4%
Pennies 475 = 48%

That is neat that you kept it all. I usually write it down on then turn in or spend soon after......

I got only 2 silver coins all year An 1830 1/2 dime and an 1877 seated Quarter--

The clad I tumble for about an hour with a little dish soap and fish tank stone//

the only other good finds were a nice Gold ring and a fat silver ear ring. Perry

If you had to only get 2 silvers you sure picked a couple nice ones! Congrats on your 1000 coin goal!

well done sir !!

I picked up a smallish concrete mixer.I add the small aquarium gravel, water and a good dose of vinegar.I let it run 6-8 hours.I use my sifters as drying screens and can pull the screwed up ones out.always seem to find a silver I missed or war nickle.then I give my daughter 10% to roll it all up.
I avg $350.00 ish a year,sometimes more,sometimes less.

Congrats on the 1000! This is my first year monitoring what I found for the year. Store my finds in a coffee can. Sometime this winter will go through it and post my results.

I think you should set the bar higher and shoot for 1250.

Not in a club but would if one was available. Love to find a Retiree to hunt with// In good weather I try to go almost every day for 1-2 hrs. I like Lawns. Town commons, parks. Ball fields and parking lots. The big beaches are 2 hrs away-- the lake beaches are hammered//.I worked a large parking lot 3-4 weeks and took over 200 coins off it-- I use my Raobi batt. drill w/ a 5/8 spade drill and
bore down under and pry up the coin-- takes about 20 sec. in a lot that you cant scratch with a Leach tool//// Perry
