Coins on edge or near iron throw these numbers way off. If in doubt just dig.

I wonder how these numbers will compare with the new Ace 400? Interesting chart, even for a non-AT-Pro user like me.

Your absolutely right. This is why I dig depending on the area, everything.
However I like to guess what it is before digging it up and the chart is for those that haven't dug for 40 years. If it's only beep and dig we should all switch to a PI and shed the VLF' s.

I'd be surprised if they were the same. The 400 runs at 10 kHz, the Pro 15 kHz.

I bet they are the same as the AT pro and AT gold numbers are the same with different frequencies....

What are the coins and vdi numbers for them with the Pro?
I'll post them.
i don't know, got a pro international for Christmas and haven't used it. I guess I could bench test them, but I suspect they will be all over the place as the mint changes what they have used to produce them.

I hope this is pretty accurate. I have been mentally trying to do this myself, but I just started two weeks ago. Now I kind of know what I can filter out. Most of the time. I am pretty excited I found this.

Now I Have to Rethink on What Signals I'm Digging!!! In Pro Mode Does Any one Else Notice the Scratchy sound of Foil And The Warble Of Pull Tabs ( sound like to items Close together) Just Wondering Because I'm Hearing Impaired Don't use Hearing aids While Detecting Because Of traffic noise in Most Areas Chug Red says She here the Difference!!!

Ordered a 400, should be in any day. Will report back on how the numbers stack up when I can. The chart is a great idea. Keep your fingers crossed. Not sure if will out depth the 350, but the iron audio enhancement and frequency shifter are pluses along with the VDI. Best 350 coin was a 1702 1 reale cob, so looking to beat that. :)

I got my 400 and the numbers are close to the AT Pro, but I think a tad higher on silver and copper coins, a bit lower on nickels. Nickels ran in the 40s. Aluminum screwcaps ran up into the penny range, 82-84 and quarters came in around 90. Have not found any silver yet, but have gotten a number of flat buttons and a 1776 British Hibernia penny (or half-penny) with it. The Iron reject doesn't work on the aluminum screwcaps and fails on newer beer bottle caps with no rust. That's OK. I hunt mostly fields, so my enemy is the dreaded 'canslaw" which no man can defeat totally. I think the AT-Pro hunting in Pro-Zero mode might be able to out-depth me, but otherwise, I feel like I can compete with the Pro within an inch or so on depth.
