Garrett Ace 400i on UK Beaches?

Just wondering if anyone has used the Ace 400i on any beaches in the UK and if it performed well or not. Looking into getting the 400i and would like to detect inland but also beaches now and again.

It isn't a salt water detector, it is single freq (10khz) detector......Okay on the dry sand, not in the wet sand or salt water.....

Thanks for the reply. I'm also looking at a cscope cs4pi for the beach. I really like the 400i though. I got some thinking to do.
