Need a class on coils 101

I have a new AT pro I have a stock coil a 5x8 Garrett and I see people with a Nel coils , I understand the smaller coil is good in trashy areas am I losing depth? please get me on the fast learning curve ! Thanks

Smaller coils have a better chance of getting only one target in the coils field but they are also not as deep. Nell coils are lighter and sometimes less expensive.

Warning don't get a big Nel coil because you'll find really deep and good stuff they will ruin you to any other coils. They are great. Not only do they go deeper they cover more area. I use the Storm and the big Nel. You will probably need a sling or harness because their heavy. Hope his helps
