When using a 3rd party coil such as a Nel, are the AT Pro's readings still accurate (i.e. depth conductivity, etc.) or is a bias applied (i.e. a 4" reading is actually 6")?
I have a Nel Hunter coil for my Atpro and the only thing that is different is my sensitivity setting. With the stock coil and the 5x8 I could run wide open, but have to run two bars down with the Nel. The Nel is a great coil.

My Nel Storm and Big Nel run at wide open no problem. The depth is always deeper than it says, which is a good thing. Large Nel coils are sensitive and will cover larger areas plus hit the deep stuff
