If You Are Having Pairing Issues With The Max, Do This......

Switch the headset around. That should correct it. And.......if you are hunting in true all metal mode in an area with hot rocks, the hot rocks will give an audio, but no numbers show up on the screen, with the occasional hot rock hitting 99 or 100.

Anyone else discovering some hints, please post so all can see.

Had no trouble with the phones paring with the detector. had phone controls on the right side of my head. I might get the Z link kit for my MXT

Hi John,

Will switching the headset around work for my AT Max with standard MS-3... Z-Link headphone?

When I use some positive threshold so I hear at least some humming, I noticed that in every 1 to 5 sweeps the humming cuts off for a second or even less and randomly.
Also when I sit next to my search coil, the pairings goes off.
As soon as I pick up my AT Max or come closer to the control box, the pairing is back okay

Any tips on keeping the new pinpointer paired? It’s hit and miss. This is my second one, I returned the first for the same problem.
