Mothers day is 10 May and this is coming out 15 May, Ill bet that mom gathers more attention.:occasion14: even though she weighs a bit more than an Ace 250.

I hope it’s not an entry level machine, I’m hoping for a multi-frequency!

Minelab Vanquish 340, Tesoro Silver uMax, Compadre, and BH Tracker IV.

Ex: White's Spectrum XLT, Tesoro Cutlass II Umax, and that circa late 70's red handled junk from RadioShack that started it.
Kinetic energy produced by each swing recharges internal Li-on battery pack.

I heard UBS connector. I'm guessing that means a rechargeable battery.

I think it is going to be a lot better detector than most here think and say.

I heard it can hit a gold, or silver ring right through a foot thick steel girder.

Lets all be honest.... we hope its Garrets version of the Equinox...right down to the price :laughing7: It will be tough to out do the simplex on price, the vanquish on multi + price and the Equinox on versatility + price....

The AT Max was a little underwhelming....Anyway only a few weeks to go

APEX doesn't sound like an entry level machine. I would assume it will be like the Equinox or the XP Dues.

Don't forget the AT Pro was a best selling detector and was the Ace series. My guess something low priced with good preformance, easy to use, lightweight, with update ability. Another best seller. You know they are shooting for that.

Thats a pretty dismal video...sunglasses yet no sun....the little guy starts swinging the 250 but arm not in the cuff?? They only discuss the new detector on the site?? ....reminds me of that AT max ad with the guy swinging along the shoreline at the beach.... Hoping the detector is more professional than the marketing department

Don't you think they should have pulled an AT Max out of the bed instead of a 250 for the comparison if that is the case? If not, I sure hope their new mid range detector can stomp the mighty Ace 250.
