Garrett Crossfire 2 Super Sniper

What is the difference between a Garrett Sniper and a Garrett Super Sniper 2? Can they both be used with an Ace 250?

The sniper is a reference to the small ACE 250 coil. Crossfire II is a reference to the 2nd generation Crossfire coils which fit onto the GTA 500, GTA/GTAx 1000 & CX models which were 8 inch and 12/1/2 inch. The small coil for the GTI 1500/GTI2500 is refered to the Scorcher.

The Crossfire Two I was referring to is a 4.5 inch coil. Garrett says it will work with the Ace but is not calibrated for that unit. I was wondering if anyone had tried crossing coils between different models?
