New Garrett 2500GTI

Hello!
Her is a report from my first tour with a new garrett 2500GTI. The maskin works well i all met. and disc/zero. The pin-point works not so god. My Whites 6000Di S3 is better in pin-point. A drawback with the 2500 is that it is so heavy. Afther 1-2 hour I have a very loong arm.

The pinpoint needs some time before you learn how to use it very well.
I know what you mean with the weight of that thing! I had one at a time..

So anyways what coins did you get?? I can't tell dates or anything.

You bought a great machine. It will take some time to properly learn the pinpointing, sizing, ID and their limitations. I have found thousands of coins with both the GTI 1500 and GTI 2500. Too heavy? Don't extend the lower rod to its fullest, and keep the arm close to the body so that the leverage isn't so great to the coil & electronics.

Thanks, i only find Norwegian coins from 1920-1970 and there was a silverthing to hang on shirt.
Is not detekting illegal in Sweden?

I bought my first detector in 1982-1984, a coinmaster 2500, sinse I drived a coinmaster 6000Di. The pin-point was easyer on the old one, but mayby I have too learn it one a new way.
