Would this work as a pinpointer?

Does it pinpoint metalic objects? If it does, why not? I'd try it at that price,
and if it works let us know. I have a HF about three miles or so from my house,
I'd probably give it a shot if someone else says it works. I already have one of
their $15.00 pinpointers. It works fine.

The 9.99 metal detector arrived today. It does detect metal at a range of about 1/2 an inch. No sound or vibration. I called HF and wanted to return it. Customer service lady told me to just keep it and she proceeded to refund me the cost AND the shipping! I ordered the one that everyone else has instead. So I got something for nothing and thanked her. Great customer service.
