John, welcome to the virtual world of metal detector addicts anonymous. The rules here are quite simple: you give me half of all your finds, and you are permitted to continue metal detecting in your locale.

Welcome to the best site on the www
    Happy hunting!
When you get into a tight place and everything goes against
you till it seems you could not hold on a minute longer,
never give up then for that is just the place and time that
    the tide will turn.

Just kidding! I have found alot of cool stuff in the resent past including adozen or so indian heads from 1870 up, a shield nickel 2v nickles, mercs, buffalos,5 morgans melted together, handfulls of jewelry, gold teeth, buttons, bullets, coffee cans full of foriegn coins, etc. This is the sweetest hobbie ever! When are you guys going to tell WYAT about the required beverage and pizza party that is required when he learns the double secret handshake?

Welcome aboard, some of us here are pretty stable, the jury is still out on a select few.

PICTURES!!! We like pictures of finds, it gives us something to drool over while we wish we were detecting.
