You need to do some research at libraries and talk to people. Many that have property where you have determined something may have happened may let you on their property if you approach them right. Relic retrieval usually involves using a shovel and this is why you can't do peoples yards.

Dang Mike you aren't asking much.

I've been hunting central KY cw sites for 16 or so years and still trying to find places with only the good stuff.
Besides that, what's wrong with minie balls?

You definitely have cannon balls for asking though.

Hey, it was just a shot in the dark. It never hurts to ask. I mostly hunt around old homeplaces. I would be glad to swap some places to hunt. You never know until you ask.
