How to find Old Park please help

Talk to old timey guys and ladies is one way to learn where they played as kids. The county clerks office should have old records or maps of city property. Local libraries may have information too. Any historical society can also help, but don't memtion you want to metal detect.

local history books. look at old maps.locate old houses in older parts of town, then locate close by parks. look at old photo collections in the library. read old newspapers on micro film at the library.as Sandman said, talk to older folks. just a few ideas. :thumbsup: :)

find your nearest retirement home/community and start talking to people, old folks have a wealth of knowledge that you can find in a book or on a map.
like the old swimming hole all the kids used or the grove of trees where kids went to hang at.
think back to when you were a kid, and use your imagination
