Anyone ever do a 45min on-the-way-home-from-work "Power Hunt"?

Or an hour or whatever??

The point is.....as I wait for my gear and daydream, I have every intention to keep my MD in my car (provided temps are within manual specs) so that I can hit a spot for quick "Power Hunts" on the way home.

Once ya have permission for a not so "around a house" site....it may take a few of these Power Hunts to cover the ground.

Just remember where you hunted the last time!!!

Anyone do this??

Yep, especially since I've pulled mercs, buffalo's, wheaties, silver Wash. and a Benj. half out of the lot next to the shop. Used to be an old auction house.

Definitely, but it usually goes beyond 45 minuntes. I quit when it gets dark.

Used to do that...some years back.

Work just wears me out now and I feel lucky I can make it thru a day there.

But...I think we called that cherry picking. Limited detecting time...you wanna maximize your finds...just dig the obvious treasure signals.

When working a day job, get up early enough to use all the light you can on the way to work for just such a thing. There's no one else around, it's a great start to the day and you get vendoteria change.

Maybe you'll be able to leave after 45 minuts, Gary. I'm kinda thinking you will be like most of the rest of us though and if the old wheaties are coming up at a regular pace you will "just one more" yourself right through dinner and later. Add a collection of alibis to your gear just in case.
