I THINK I find more pull-tabs - - they are all over the place.

Beer tops are more concentrated in certain areas, such as picnic tables and
hide-away drinking spots, like a patch of trees behind the school, but pull tabs
are everywhere that people go.

What I'd like to know is if you dig the pull-tab signals?
On my MXT pull tabs are 37 or 24. I used to ignore them, but I found
by digging them I find more jewelry and rings.

I find a lot of pulltabs in the parks. I detect in Mexico on the beaches and have to do all metal mode to find the larger coins [they use a purer nickle that is magnetic] and find tons of bottlecaps >:(

Way more pull tabs then bottle tops. Pull tabs are on beer and soda cans, bottle tops are just on beer bottles (mostly). A lot of folks around here drink their beer in cans 'cause it's cheaper then bottled beer. I do find a lot of the old screw top wine/whiskey bottle tops though.

Way more pull tabs. I find more older style pull tabs than caps.

Just an observation, but I have found that where you find a lot of the REAL pull tabs, you know the ones that actually had to pull a hunk of aluminum from the can, you are in an area that is fairly old from today's standpoint.

The newer "pop tabs" that only press open the hole are not as old...

Now to answer your question... LOTS more tabs than caps.
