Hi all this is coin finder, My Question How manny of you , need a permit to Metal Detec. ? in New York it ( cost) $ 40.0 per year ! + you have to ( Pay) to Park ! permit is only for ( state Park - Beaches ) !

No Permits here. But you have to get a permission slip to hunt State Parks and you must have it on you it they ask to see it. Then It costs you to get in the park....Matt

No permits needed here. But I bet if you asked enough, far enough up the chain of command/bureaucracy, someone would reply "you need a permit for that"

No permits required in Florida, however some counties have forbidden detecting and some city parks have ' no detecting' signs posted.
