This is a pretty cool app in that it allows you to see modern maps overlayed over historic ones with buildings and such. Doesn't have a lot of US coverage yet, but it says it will have updates for the entire world soon. When using with your iphones GPS, you could literally walk up to an old building site you are researching. Very cool.

Wow, this thing is so cool. I just discovered a general store and post office from 1885 in my area. You can blend the amount of overlay from the modern map. I know exactly where this store was located and its open field now. Sweet.
