It's a good detector, also known as the quickdraw II.

As long as you don't pay too much for it. WalMart sells them new for about $190.00

Google "Bounty Hunter Pioneer 202" and you will get a ton of links to the reviews.

If you get a detector and learn it, regardless of the brand I am sure you will do great.

As you get more comfortable in the hobby if you choose to pursue it, you may find yourself wanting

to upgrade to another detector (INSERT BRAND) or continue on with First Texas the maker of

Bounty Hunter, Discovery, Teknetics, Titan and Fisher.

Welcome to the hobby

I feel everyone should own a low end detector first.
A lot of guys pay big $ to get detectors and accessories only to realize the hobby is not for them.
The equipment sets in their closets collecting dust for years.
Do you know how many times I've heard this?
Give it a try if you love the hobby then upgrade.

Just looking out for you

I'll hook you up.

Mike
