hello folks, i was wanting to know if MD'ing is allowed in the state of New York more else around Niagara falls, NY.................. do i need a permit or can i just pull up to any park and start swingin?

also looking for anybody that lives with in 50 miles of the city of Niagara falls that would be intrested in having a hunting buddy for the day........ i will be in that area around June time for a family reunion....


if any body can help that would be great.... thanks

Far as I know the NF city parks are OK. The state parks are off limits. That would include all of the areas next to the falls.

Are you originally from the area?

I think you may need a permit, so it's best to check. You need a permit in NYC and the rangers will ask to see it.

There is no permit available for the NF state parks. I have never hunted NF city parks but have never heard anyone mention a permit.
