I have an MXT which is the base machine for your M6. I have the 6X10 DD and 4X6 shooter DD coils as well as the 5.3 concentric, 9.5 concentric and the 12" concentric. I've found the 6X10DD to work thru trashy areas a fair bit better than the 9.5, but it doesn't get quite the depth. The 4X6shooterDD is king for extreme trash in my opinion and will let you get closer to playground equipment etc., but ground coverage and depth will be limited. The 5.3 is quite good in trash and has pretty good depth for its size. I use the 6X10 80% of the time switching to the 5.3 or the 4X6 when in heavier trash. I seldom use the 9.5 or 12" unless hunting open, relatively trash free ground. If you hunt mainly parks, fairgrounds etc. with enough trash to be a pain, then any of the smaller coils will be a help. If the trash is generally moderate, the 6X10 will be a big improvement over the 9.5 and is the coil I usually start with. They all are a bit nicer to swing than the 9.5 in my opinion.
