Mind in "all Metal Mode"

Is it just me? :icon_scratch: Does anyone else see everyday life through "all metal mode"? Such as...
When walking in a parking lot, always looking down to find a dropped coin.
Do round or shiny items on the ground catch you eye more?
Does seeing a pull tab make you cringe?
If you run across the Home Shopping Network on TV and they are showing jewelry, do you think wow, I'd love to find that item?
When you get change back at the store, do you go through it?
Have you asked all yours Friends if you can search their yards?
I'm sure you all can add others, I was just curious is all.

Those who don't know me may think I'm depressed when they see me walking around with my head down all the time. Trust me, it sure ain't depression!

Re: Mind in "all Metal Mode"

It is an illness that I suffer from as well!

I have also done the following:

Picked up an acorn thinking that somehow it was a Civil War two piece button lying on the surface of a busy sidewalk

Picked up a plastic disc thinking that somehow it was a colonial copper that found its way to the surface in my 1960's suburban neighborhood.

Bent down to pick up the partially obscured gum wrapper thinking it was a sterling silver piece of jewelry.
