Does anyone know what would be the best way to sell jewelry, like gold rings with diamonds? Is it best to separate or sell as a whole. Who would you sell to for the best price? You always see how to sell gold and silver but no one mentions jewelry with diamonds or other stones.

Depends on the size of the stone(s). if they're chips it's not worth the hassle of prying them out of the setting.

Our club had a jeweler come to our meeting and talk to us about selling gold. He said what he would recommend is to find a jeweler and ask them where they take their gold. He gave us two recommendations. They charge $75 so make sure you have enough to make a profit and they will pay per current gold prices. He said to beware of the mail in offers or those who pay you in penny weight.

There is a couple of big threads about this on here...somewhere. Do a word related search, they should pop up. Read it's best to remove any jewels as companies only pay you for the gold content.
