Well did a lot of research...
My M6 recently bit the dust, so I have been looking for a new detector to replace it. I think I have narrowed it down to the Minelab X-Terra 505 or 705, or the Fisher F70 detectr. I was quite pleased watching videos on these detectors. I also have gave thought of a DFX detector as well. not sure yet what I am gonna choose. any thoughts?

What is your price range and what kind of detecting do you primarily do?

Re: Well did a lot of research...
The DFX is a great machine, I used to own one and was very happy with it. The Fisher F70 is also a great machine, I haven't heard anything negative about it. The Xterra models made by Minelab is a popular machine but I don't know much about it, it looks kind of cheap to me.

Re: Well did a lot of research...
For the money a 505 does a great job and gets the same depth as the 705. You just don't get the Gold prospecting option on the 705.
We have plenty in stock if you need one.
Good luck!
