Hey y'all!
Got some interesting things from the father-in-law, the other day. Got two specimen type jars of real nice lookin' opals, and two pieces of scrimshaw.
They look like whale's teeth and they're carved pretty neat like, but I'm not 100% sure they're real. They're fairly heavy and look like they have wear on the ends. Didn't find any seams to indicate they're plastic, but that doesn't mean they're not cast resin.
Failed to take photos before I locked 'em up in the safe deposit box. I didn't feel comfortable keeping 'em in the house cause there's been a lot of home invasion robberies in this area lately.
Any input on what to look for?
