I used a program called Blender 3D. It's really complex to use. If you want to try I suggest Hexagon 2, which has an amazing interface. Blenders interface is a bunch of buttons all over the buttons that are short words like Animate is Anim and stuff.

My son-in-law is an animator and works with all kinds of programs to duplicate various things. He has contributed to several war type video games and a few cartoons. He would know what you are doing in a second, but I am mostly computer ignorant. But it looks like a good job to me. Monty
